Let's Start 2009 Off Right, with Just a Little Truth

2008 was full of so many untruths (lies). I'd love to start the new year off on the right foot. Shedding a little light on some poorly reported and poorly understood political urban legends is my way of doing that. So, here's Part #1 of the Political Urban Legend Quiz (how many can you answer correctly without resorting to the cited sources?):

1. Did the Bush administration try to increase regulation of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in 2003, and did Democrats (especially Barney Frank) stand in their way? [yes][no]
